Help on Vehicle

This page allows you to search and select the vehicle details and transfer the same to the main page. You can initiate the search on entering the starting and ending range of the vehicle numbers, registration number, status, VIN, Vehicle Nature, Vehicle Group, Vehicle Type, Vehicle Make, Vehicle Model, Trailer Type, Fuel Used, Transmission Type, Attached Location, and Created at OU in the search criteria. You can specify a single field or a combination of fields in the search criteria. The system retrieves corresponding results that match the criteria in the multiline. Otherwise, the system retrieves blank records in the multiline. These details are transferred to the main page when it is confirmed.

Click the lens icon positioned along the “Vehicle No.” field.

The “Vehicle No.” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

From Vehicle No	The starting range of the vehicle number from which you wish to retrieve the details.
To Vehicle No	The ending range of the vehicle number upto which you wish to retrieve the details.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle status for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with “Active - Free” "Active - In Transit", "Active - Planned", “Inactive” and "Under Maintenance". The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Registration No. From	The starting range of the vehicle registration number from which you wish to retrieve the details.
Registration No. To	The ending range of the vehicle registration number upto which you wish to retrieve the details.
VIN	The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) identifying an individual vehicle for which you wish to retrieve the details.
Vehicle Nature	Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle nature for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with “Hired”, “Leased” and “Owned”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Vehicle Group	Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle group for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with all the values defined in the “Maintain Code” activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Vehicle Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle type for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with all the values defined in the “Maintain Codes” activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Vehicle Make	Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle make for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with all the values defined in the “Maintain Codes” activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Vehicle Model	Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle model for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with all the values defined in the “Maintain Codes” activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Trailer Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the trailer type for which you wish to retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with all the values defined in the “Maintain Codes” activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Fuel Used	Use the drop-down list box to select the fuel usage value. The combo is loaded with all the values defined in the “Maintain Codes” activity. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Transmission Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the vehicle’s transmission type. The combo is loaded with “Automatic” and “Manual”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Attached Location	The location to which the vehicle belongs for which you wish to retrieve the details.
Created At OU	Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit at which the vehicle number is created. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the vehicle details.

For the combinations specified in the search criteria, the system retrieves the vehicle details to the multiline using “%” operator if only a single field is specified.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Result” multiline.

Vehicle No	A unique number identifying the vehicle number.
VIN	The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) identifying an individual vehicle.
Status	The status of the vehicle. The status can be “Active” or “Inactive”.
Attached Location	The location to which the vehicle belongs.
Vehicle Nature	The nature of the vehicle. The vehicle nature can be “Hired”, “Leased” or “Owned”.
Vehicle Group	The group to which the vehicle belongs.
Vehicle Type	The type to which the vehicle belongs.
Registration No.	A unique number identifying the vehicle registration number.
Fuel Used	The fuel used by the vehicle.
Transmission Type	The transmission type of the vehicle. The transmission can be “Automatic” or “Manual”.
Vehicle Make	The make to which the vehicle belongs.
Vehicle Model	The model to which the vehicle belongs.
Trailer Type	Indicates the type of the trailer if the vehicle group is Trailer.
Created at OU	Indicates the organization unit at which the vehicle number is created.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the vehicle details.
Click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer the vehicle details to the main page.
