This page allows you to select any tax group that you require to modify or to delete from database. You can specify the code of the tax group, if you know it, or you can specify the search criteria to recover data of a tax group.
Select the “Edit Tax Group” link under the “Tax Rule Definition” business component.
The “Select Tax Group” page appears.
Enter the following fields if you know the details of the group you require to modify or to delete:

Tax Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax type you need to search. Tax type is the type of tax for example, VAT, and TDS. The field displays the first type of tax in the list on launch of the page. |

Tax Community |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax community. Tax community is the government authority that administers the tax laws. |

Tax Region |
The place where the tax declaration is to be made (Alphanumeric, 10). |

Tax Group |
The user defined group to which Items/TCDs/Usage Ids are mapped (Alphanumeric, 10). |
Click the “Edit Tax Group” link at the top of the page to modify/delete the selected tax group.
Note: the “Edit Tax Group” page appears on clicking the “Edit Tax Group” link. You can proceed to modify or delete the tax group in “Edit Tax group” page. If you do not know the details of the tax group that you require to edit or to delete, continue in the “Select Tax Group” page with the following instructions.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box if you require to search for the tax group to modify / delete:

Tax Group From |
The first code from which to start the search (Alphanumeric, 10). A Tax Group is a unique code representing a tax group . The system starts search from the entered code. If from is not entered, the system will start from the first available code to display search results. |

To |
The last code of the range of search (Alphanumeric, 10).. If you do not specify value, the system will display value till the last available code. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the group (Alphanumeric, 40).. |

Tax UOM |
Unit of measurement (Alphanumeric, 15). |

Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax type from Item, Charge, Discount, Tax, or Usage id. |

Retrieve Active Entities |
Check the box to display the already mapped entries for the combination. |

Usage Id. / Item code / TCD From |
The relevant code for the selected type from which to start the search (Alphanumeric, 32). |

To |
The end code of your range of search (Alphanumeric, 32). |

Item / TCD Variant From |
The code of the variant from which to start the search (Alphanumeric, 32). |

To |
The end code of the range of search (Alphanumeric, 32). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to obtain the results of the entered search criteria.
The system displays the following fields in the “Tax Group Details” multiline.

Tax Type |
The type of tax for example VAT and TDS. |

Tax Region |
The place where the tax declaration is required to be made. |

Tax Group |
User defined group to which Items/TCDs/Usage IDs are mapped. Select the required hyperlink of the tax group you require to modify or delete. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the tax group.. |
