The “Create Report Template” page appears.

Report ID.

A unique code identifying the report template that you want to create. (Alphanumeric, 40). The entered report ID can be a new ID or it can be an existing ID. If the entered report ID already exists, then the Tax type, Tax community and Report type is defaulted with values for which that report id is created (on enter). The Round Off is also defaulted in the position details and the formula details multiline with values for which that report is created.

Desc.

A textual description of the report ID. (Alphanumeric, 100).

Tax Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the tax type for which you want to create the report template. The applicable tax types that are defined for the company in the “Company Parameter Setup” component The system displays the first value by default on the launch of the page.

Tax Community

Use the drop-down list box to select the tax community for which you want to create the report template. The valid tax community for the selected “Tax Type” which is defined in for the company in the “CPS” component will be available for selection. The system displays the first value by default on the launch of the page.

Report Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the report type for which you want to create the report template. Based on the values selected in the “Tax Type” and “Tax Community” the report type values are available for selection.

Position No.

The number identifying the position in which the position details appear in the report. (Integer). The position number must be unique for each row. The Position Number should be in the format 010, 020 etc.

Position Desc.

A textual description of the position number. (Alphanumeric, 100).For example, for Position 010, the description may be given as TDS Payable Details.

Variable

The value identifying the variable of the position number. (Alphanumeric, 20). The variable must be unique for each row. For example, for Position 010, the variable may be given as S10.

Round Off

Use the drop-down list box to select the rounded off total value of the report. You can select from "0.1","0.01","1","10","100","1000", "10,000", "100,000" and blank. The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page.

 Position No.

The number identifying the after position number after which the formula details to be applied in the Report (Integer). The after position number must exist for the report ID. 

Formula Id.

The code identifying the formula ID of the formula that you want to use in the report. (Alphanumeric, 20).

Desc.

A textual description of the formula ID. (Alphanumeric, 150).

Formula Content

The value identifying the formula content of the formula that you want to use in the report. (Alphanumeric, 255).

Formula Content may be given in the following manner :

  • Formula content for TDS:

Total TDS Payable = s20+s30+s40+s50+s60 (where the variables represent the Tax Classes for TDS Payable)

  • Formula content for IVAT:

Total Input Credit = s20+s30 (where the variables represent Tax Categories, Local Purchases and Purchase Returns)

  • Formula content for CST:

Total Output Credit = s20+s30 (where the variables represent Tax Categories, Inter State Sales and Sales Returns)

  • Formula content for Service Tax:

Total Input Credit = s20+s30+s40+s50 (where the variables represent Tax Classes, Input Credit - Advertisement, Telephone etc.)

  • Formula content for Excise:

Total Input Credit = s20+s30+s40+s50 (where the variables represent Tax Categories National Purchases, Sales Returns, Job Work Receipt etc.)

Round Off

Use the drop-down list box to select the rounded off total value of the report. You can select from "0.1","0.01","1","10","100","1000", "10,000", "100,000" and blank. The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page.
