View Tax Registration Number Specification

Certain tax types have rigid tax specification patterns for the registration numbers. This page allows you to view the specification of the different patterns for registration numbers for a tax type – tax community combination.

Select the “View Tax Registration Number Specification” link under the “Tax Setup” business component.

The “View Tax Registration Number Specification” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Tax Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of tax for which you want to view the specification of tax registration number.
Tax Community	Use the drop-down list box to select the tax community for which you want to view the specification for tax registration number.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to display the details in the “Specification Details” multiline:

ISO Country Code	The code assigned by International Standards Organization (ISO) to the particular country.
Country	The name of the country corresponding to the code.
Prefix Length	The number of digits in the prefix of the registration number for the tax type and tax community.
Prefix	The prefix in the registration number.
Total Length	The total length of the registration number.
Pattern	The pattern of registration for the country.
Pattern1	Additional pattern for the registration number for the country, if any.
Pattern2	Additional pattern for the registration number for the country, if any.
Pattern3	Additional pattern for the registration number for the country, if any.
