This page allows you to provide the excise registration details of the Tax Type – Excise and Tax Community- India for tax region .The details of the commissionerate, division, range and remarks are entered in this page.
Select the “Excise Registration Details” link in the “Create Tax Region” or “Edit Tax Region” page.
The “Excise Registration Details” page appears.
The system displays the following details in the header:

Tax Type |
The system displays the Tax Type – Excise for which the registration details are to be provided. |

Tax Community |
The system displays the Tax Community – India (Tax Type being Excise) for which the excise registration details are to be provided. |
The system displays the following detail in the “Jurisdiction Details” multiline:

Tax Region |
The code identifying the User defined region (Factory). |
Enter the details in the following fields in the “Jurisdiction Details” multiline:

Commissionerate |
The commissionerate of the Tax region. (Alphanumeric, 20) Mandatory. |

Division |
The division under the Commissionerate (Alphanumeric, 20) Mandatory. |

Range |
The range under the division (Alphanumeric, 20) Mandatory. |

Remarks |
Any additional information regarding the jurisdiction. (Alphanumeric, 20) |
