This page helps the user to search and select a unit for transferring the details to the field where it is required.
The user can search by specifying the unit , serial number, status, item details, customer, work group, location, SLA number or the installation date of the unit. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline. The selected unit is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Unit” field in the main screen.
The “Help on Unit” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Unit |
The code identifying the unit (Alphanumeric, 70). |

Serial No. |
The unique code identifying the serial number of the unit (Alphanumeric, 28). |
|
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the unit. It can be “Active”, “Inactive” or “All”. The system displays “All” by default on the launch of the page. |
|
Item Code |
The code identifying the item associated with the unit. (Alphanumeric, 32). |
|
Variant Code |
The variant code of the item (Alphanumeric, 8). |
|
Item Variant Desc. |
The description of the item-variant. (Alphanumeric, 150). |
|
Installation Date From |
The starting date in the range of installation date from which the unit details must be retrieved (Date Format).This date should be earlier than the “Installation Date To”. |

Installation Date To |
The date till which the unit details must be retrieved (Date Format). |
|
Location |
The code identifying the location (Alphanumeric, 30). |
|
End Customer |
The code identifying end customer id (Alphanumeric, 18). |
|
Customer Phone No |
The phone number of the customer. |
|
Customer City |
The customer city. |
|
Service Level |
The code identifying the service level offered (Alphanumeric, 18). |
|
SLA No. |
The number identifying the Service Level Agreement (Alphanumeric, 18). |
|
PM/Parameter Tracking |
Use the drop-down list box to specify if preventive maintenance / parameter is tracked. The combo is loaded with the following options "No” and “Yes”. The system displays “No” by default. |

Work Group |
The code identifying the work group (Alphanumeric, 30). |
|
Unit Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit category. The system populates the list box with values as defined under Unit Category type in the “ Maintain Codes activity. |
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the unit details in the multiline.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve and display the search results in the multiline.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

The date on which the Service Level Agreement expires. |

The code identifying the unit category. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the unit.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.
The system transfers the selected unit to the required page.
