This activity allows you to set the system parameters for the “Unit Induction” business component. The unit generation rule is defined in this activity. The generation of Unit code is based on any one of the following – Auto Number Generation, Manual, Item-Variant-Serial Number combination or Serial Number.
Select the “Set Function Parameters” link under the “Unit Induction” business component.
The “Set Function Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following field details in the “Code Details” group box:

Unit Generation Rule |
Use the drop-down list box to set the generation rule for unit. The combo is loaded with values “Auto Number Generation”, “Item-Variant –Serial Number Combination”, “Serial Number” and "Manual". The system displays “Serial Number” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Update Function Parameters” pushbutton set the generation rule for unit.
The system displays the following details in the “Data History” group box:

Created By |
The login user ID of the user who created the parameter details. |

Created Date |
The date on which the parameter details were created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login user ID of the user who last modified the parameter details. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the parameter details were last modified. |
