Unit Family
Units or Equipments are made up of series of assembled components. These components are structured in a hierarchical model. This activity allows you to build a hierarchical structure of all the components belonging to the same family and create a family number for the structure. Based on the parent – child relation, hierarchical levels are derived. For the same family number, it is possible to alter the hierarchy by creating a new version for the family number. It is also possible to inactive the family number.
Select the “Unit Family” activity under the “Unit Induction” business component.
