Help on Codes
This page helps you to search and select the code for transferring the details to the field where it is required. You can specify the code, description and status. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline. The selected code with its details is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Parent Category.” field.
The “Help on Codes.” page appears.
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code for which you wish to search and retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with “Nature of Complaint”, “SWO Category”, “SWO Type”, “Symptom”, “Unit Category” and “Warranty Details”. The system details “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Code |
A unique code identifying the unit category for which you wish to search and retrieve the details. |

Description |
The detailed description of the code for which you wish to search and retrieve the details. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the code. The combo is loaded with “Active” and “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page. |

Default |
Use the drop-down list box to default the search. The combo is loaded with “No” and “Yes”. The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in multiline.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline.

Code |
A unique code identifying the category. |

Description |
The detailed description of the category. |
|
Default |
Indicates whether the code set is default or not. |
|
Status |
The status of the code. The status can be “Active” or ‘Inactive”. |
Click the ‘OK” pushbutton.
The system transfers the selected code and its details to the required page.
