This page allows you to activate or inactivate the customer group code. You can specify the reason code, which identifies the reason for the activation or inactivation of the customer group code.

The "Activate / Inactivate Customer Group” page appears. 

The system displays the following details:

Status

The status of the customer group.

Controlled Group

The text that specifies whether the customer group is user-defined or system defined.

Group Type Code

The code identifying the group type of the customer.

Group Type Desc.

The description of the group type code.

Customer Group Code

The code identifying the customer group.

Customer Group Desc.

The description of the customer group code.

Reason Code

The code identifying the reason for which the customer group is activated or deactivated (Alphanumeric, 10) Mandatory.

The system displays the following detail:

Reason Desc.

The description of the reason code.

The system displays the following details in the "Customer Details" multiline:

Customer Code

The code identifying the customer belonging to a particular customer group.

Customer Name

The name of the customer corresponding to the customer code.

The status of the customer group code must be “Inactive” before you click this button. Status field is updated to “Active”.

The status of the customer group code must be “Active” before you click this button. The reason code is mandatory. Status field gets updated to “Inactive”.

Note: The "Last modified by" is populated with login id and the  "last modified date" is populated with the system date

To proceed, carryout the following:

The system populates the following details:

Created By

The login user ID of the person who has created the “Customer” component.

Created Date

The date on which the “Customer” component was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the “Customer” component.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the last modification was done.
