Maintain Activity – A summary of the activity
The system allows the user to update the status of the existing activity. The status can be planned, completed or cancelled. If the status of an activity is planned, it can get updated to completed or cancelled. But if the status of the activity is already completed, it is not possible to cancel that activity.
The activity type and the goal of the project are populated as defined in the “Category “ business component. The information regarding the date, start time, duration, location, subject, opportunity id, sales person code can be recorded and maintained in this activity. The duration is calculated based on the date and the start time. If it is an all day event then the duration is calculated in multiples of 24 hrs. This activity also allows the user to keep track of private appointments.
On entering the contact id, the system displays customer details corresponding to the contact ID entered such as, customer code, name, department, phone, mobile, email, address id.
