This activity allows the user to maintain the existing User activity details and create new user activities.
Select the “Maintain Activity” link under the “Lead Management” business component.
The “Maintain Activity” page appears.
Enter the following details in the “Activity “ group box:

Activity Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of activity (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The system retrieves the values as defined in the “Category Master” business component. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the activity (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory. It can be “Planned”, “Completed” or “Cancelled”. The system displays “Planned” by default on the launch of the page. |

Date |
The date on which the activity is planned (Date Format). Mandatory. The date should not be earlier than the system date. |

Start Time |
The time at which the activity is planned (Time Format). Mandatory. The system ensures that this filed is not left blank. |

Duration (h) |
The duration of the activity (Integer). Mandatory. |
|
Sales Person Code |
The code identifying the sales person (Alphanumeric, 6) Mandatory. |

Enter the following details in the “Activity Response/Observation” groupbox:

Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the customer contacts and the activity details.
The system calculates and stores the end date and end time by adding the duration to the start date and start time. If the all day event is checked then the duration is calculated in multiples of 24 hrs.
The system saves the reminder time as “0” if the alarm flag is checked and the reminder time is not entered. If the alarm flag is not checked and the reminder time is entered, the reminder time is not saved.
The system ensures that the employee code of the sales person is same as the employee code that is mapped to the login user, else, the system throws an error message.
