Maintain Account
This activity allows you to maintain the customer account details. You can specify the customer account details along with the sales person name and registration date. You can create the new opportunity id for the specified customer account. Various business opportunity details like Short Description of Opportunity, Lead Source, Line of Business, Potential Budget and Preferences can be specified. You can update the activity details of the business opportunity.
Select the “Maintain Account” link under the “Lead Management” business component.
The “Maintain Account” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
Enter the following details in the header:

Account ID |
The code identifying the customer account. Ensure that the entered account id is valid. Mandatory |

Press <Enter> key. |

The system displays the required details that are mapped to that corresponding account id. |

Account Name |
The name of the customer account. Mandatory |
|
Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for the customer account. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in the “Numbering Class” business component. Mandatory |

Sales Person |
The name of the sales person. The sales person can either be an employee of the company or an external agent. |
|
Registration Date |
The date on which the customer account is registered. The system date is displayed as the default value on launch of the page. Mandatory |

Contact Person |
The name of the contact person. |
|
Address Line1 |
The first line of the address of the customer. Mandatory |
|
Address Line2 |
The second line of the address of the customer, if any. |
|
Address Line3 |
The third line of the address of the customer, if any. |
|
City |
The name of the city. |
|
State |
The name of the state. Mandatory |
|
State Desc |
The textual description of the state. |

ISO Country Code |
The code identifying the name of the country. Mandatory |
|
Country Desc. |
The textual description of the country. |
|
Zip Code |
The zip code identifying the address area. |
|
Phone |
The phone number of the customer. |
|
Mobile |
The mobile number of the customer. |
|
Fax |
The fax number of the customer. |

The e-mail id of the customer. |

URL |
The Universal Resource Locator / Web site of the customer. |
Enter the following details in the “Opportunity Info.” group box:

Opportunity ID |
Use the drop-down list box to select the opportunity id. The combo is loaded with “Create New” and “Blank”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Short Desc of Opportunity |
The short description of the opportunity. |
|
Preferences |
The personal preference of the opportunity. |
|
Lead Source |
Use the drop-down list box to select the lead source. The combo is loaded with the values as defined under the category LM_lead source in the “Category Master” business component. |

Line of Business |
Use the drop-down list box to select the line of business. The combo is loaded with the values as defined under the category LM_line of business in the “Category Master” business component. |

Potential Budget |
The value of the potential budget. Ensure that the entered value is greater than zero. |

Next Activity |
The next activity of the business opportunity. Click the datahyperlink to launch the Maintain Activity screen through which you can specify the subsequent activity details of the opportunity. |

Last Activity |
The last activity of the business opportunity. Click the datahyperlink to launches the Maintain Activity screen through which you can manage the recent activity details of the opportunity. |

Checklist |
Use the drop-down list box to select the checklist. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in the “Maintain Checklist” activity. |

Expected Order On |
The date on which the order is expected. Ensure that the date is not earlier than the current date. |
|
Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the opportunity information. |

Current Status |
The current status of the opportunity. (Display Only) |
Click the “Maintain Account” pushbutton to save the customer account details.
The system saves the customer account details. The system creates a new opportunity ID if the opportunity Id is selected as “Create New”.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Maintain Activity” link at the bottom of the page to specify the activity details.
Select the “Maintain Opportunity” link at the bottom of the page to specify the opportunity details.
Select the “Create Customer” link at the bottom of the page to specify the customer details.
