This page helps you to search and select document number for transferring the details to the field where it is required.
You can search by specifying the type of the source document, item details, customer details, currency, address details of the ship to or bill to ids. You can also search by specifying a range for document number and date. You can also specify the sales person or sales team details. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline. The selected document number is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Document No.” Field.
The “Help On Source Document” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the order number:

Source Doc. |
Use the drop-down list box to select the source of the document. You can select from “Quotation”, “Sale Order” or “Template”. The system displays “Quotation” by default on launch of the page. |

Doc. No. From |
The starting number in the range of document numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). You can also enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the document numbers that are greater than or equal to the value entered here. If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves the orders starting from the first document number till the document number specified in the “To” field. |

Doc. No. To |
The ending number in the range of document numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). The system lists all the document numbers that are lesser than the value entered here. The number entered here must be greater than the number entered in the “Document No. From” field. |

Doc. Date From |
The starting date in the range of dates from which the order details must be retrieved (Date Format). The value entered in this field must be less than or equal to the system date. The system date is displayed by default on launch of the page. |

Doc. Date To |
The ending date in the range of dates from which the order details must be retrieved (Date Format). The value entered in this field must be greater than or equal to the value entered in the “Date From” field. |

Doc. Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the source document. You can select from “Amended”, “Authorized”, “Closed”, “Deleted”, “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Held”, “Letter of Intent”, “Pending Authorization”, “Returned”, “Short Closed” or “All”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |

Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |

The code identifying the customer. |

Customer Address Id. |
The address id of the customer who has placed the order. |

Currency |
The currency applicable to the sale order. The valid values are populated from the “Organization Setup” business component. |

Bill To Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer to whom the invoices are to be sent. |

Bill To Address Id. |
The address id of customer to whom the invoices are to be sent. |
|
Shipping Point |
The point from where the goods are shipped to the delivery area specified by the customer. |

Ship To Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer to whom the items must be shipped. |

Ship To Address Id. |
The address of the location at which the items must be delivered. |

City |
The name of the city in which the customer resides (Alphanumeric, 40). |
|
State |
The name of the state in which the customer is located (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Zip |
The zip code applicable to the address (Alphanumeric, 20. |
|
Country |
The name of the country to which the state belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Sales Channel |
The sales channel to which the sale is attributed. |

Sales Person Name |
The name of the sales person. |

Sales Person Code |
The code identifying the sales person. |

Sales Team Name |
The name of the sales team |

The code identifying the sales team. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

The type of the document. It can be “Quotation”, “Sale Order” or “Template”. |
