This page allows you to make changes to the selected contract number. You can make changes to the customer address, salesperson and sales team details using this page. Modifications to the contract details, customer code, name, bill-to customer code, reference document number and name cannot be done in this page. The amendment number is automatically generated until a unique number is available for the selected contract number. An amended contract can be amended again.
Amendment of agreement and blanket sale order details is allowed in this page. The agreement and order details can be modified using this page. The system saves the modified contract details only if the order status prior to amendment is "Authorized".
Select the “Amend Contract” link at the top of “Select Contract“ page.
The “Amend Contract” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Status |
The status of the contract. It can be either “Authorized” or “Under Amendment”. |
Enter the following details:
Contract No. |
The number identifying the contract (Alphanumeric, 18) Mandatory. The system checks for the validity of the contract number if it is not left blank. |
The system displays the following field:
Amendment No. |
The number identifying the amendment made on the contract. |
Contract Date |
The date on which the contract was created. |
Numbering Series |
The prefix and suffix for the contract number. The numbering series that are related to Contract are retrieved from the “Numbering Class” business component. |
Enter the following field details:
Contract Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of contract. You can select from either “Blanket Sale Order” or “Agreement”. |
Folder |
Use the drop-down list box to select the classification of the contract Mandatory. The values are populated from the “Category” business component in alphabetical order. |

The system displays the following field details in the “Customer Details” group box:
Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Enter the following field details:
Customer Address Id. |
Use the drop-down list box to select the address ID identifying the address of the customer Mandatory. |
The system displays the following field detail:
Bill To Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer to whom the invoices are to be sent. |
Enter the following field:
Bill To Address Id. |
Use the drop-down list box to select the address ID of customer to whom the invoices are to be sent Mandatory. |
Customer PO No. |
The number identifying the purchase order of the customer (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Customer PO Date |
The date on which the customer has prepared the purchase order (Date Format). |
Contact Person |
The name of the contact person (Alphanumeric, 6). The person recommended by the customer to be contacted. |

The number identifying the reference document. |
Enter the following details:
Sales Person Code |
The code identifying the salesperson (Alphanumeric, 6). The system ensures that this field is not left blank. It also checks for the existence of the code and if it exists, the system retrieves the description of the salesperson code. |

Click the “Amend Contract” pushbutton to amend the selected contract.
The system saves the details to the database only if the order status prior to amendment is "Authorized".
The system saves the changes if the data already exist else it saves any new data.

Select the “Amend Blanket Sale Order” link at the bottom of the page to amend blanket sale order details.
