Analyze Supply Demand – A summary of the activity

You can view the demand and supply details for an item/planning group at a selected plant and warehouse. All the demands identified as sales forecasts, actual sales orders, production forecasts, MRP demands raised for the item are reserved against the existing supplies depending on the due dates of the supplies and demands. The demands unreserved can be reserved against the receipts. If the demands are not satisfied then the quantity is considered as problem quantity and the corresponding details are also retrieved in the multiline. For example, if there is a demand on 03/03/2000, then the demand will be reserved against a recently raised supply. If the demand cannot be reserved against the receipt, then the appropriate problem is displayed in the multiline.

The stock information is displayed corresponding to each receipt/demand as the free stock, available planned stock and problem quantity along with the cumulative problem quantity of the item of the specific order on the promised date. The stock and quantity details are updated accordingly. For example, when there is a new demand, the free stock and available planned quantities are updated. Further you can use the links provided at the bottom of the page to modify the work order details and view the order pegging, item plan, stock status review and manufacturing information of the item details.
