This page allows you to set the parameters for the “Supply Chain Planning” business component. The values of parameters are usually used during various processing of the transactions.
You can set the parameters for the selected plant. The default specification to resource overloading and underloading can be entered. The values set in this page are displayed as default values during the launch of “Rough-Cut Capacity Plan” page. These values are defaulted only if the values are not saved in the respective fields through “Save Template”. Based on the parameter set, the changes to the component are updated. These parameters can also be modified as per subsequent business requirements. The system saves the modified parameters.
Select the “Component Parameters” link under the “Supply Chain Planning” business component.
The “Component Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following details:

Use the drop-down list box to select the valid plants. The system retrieves all the Organization Units (plants) from the “CIM Model” business component along with a blank row. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. The plant should not be left blank. The system retrieves the parameter details (if any) that are already saved against the plant or retrieves the corresponding details. |
Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the parameter details.
Enter the following in the “Parameter Details” group box:
Default Over Load % |
The default percentage defined identifying the over load on the resource. The value entered should be greater than or equal to zero. |
Default Under Load % |
The default percentage defined identifying the under load on the resource. The value entered should be greater than or equal to zero. |
Click the “Set Parameters” pushbutton to save the defined parameters.
The system saves the newly defined parameters against the plant.
