Using online help

A maintain site inspection offers the ability to maintain the site inspection details. Site inspection can be performed against either opportunity Id or request for quotation number.

Site refers to the physical location, where the inspection happens. This page allows you in maintaining site inspection. You can identify the type of the task, set the status and enter the estimated duration for the completion of the task. In this page "Maintain", "Delete" and "Authorize" tasks can be performed. The activities of the task can be specified along with the sequence number, to indicate the order in which the activities must be performed. Quotations available in “Fresh”/”Under Revision” statuses can be returned and quotations available in “Draft”/”Fresh” statuses can be deleted. Employee details section gives an overview about the employee who works on the site inspection. Additional information, accessories and remarks section, shows the extra information about the site inspection.

Select the “Maintain Site Inspection” link under the “Quotation” business component and the “Maintain Site Inspection” page appears.

Site Inspection No.

The unique number defines the site inspection. Unique number followed by the respective year

 

Help Facility Available.

Numbering Type

The values are populated from the “Numbering Class” business component. Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type.

Status

The status of the quotation on entering all the mandatory fields.  Status is system generated and user cannot select the status. Until all the required information is provided, status will be retained as “Draft”. The system displays any one of the following statuses:  “Fresh”, “Authorized” and “Deleted”. 

Opportunity Id.

The unique number identifying the Opportunity ID  (Alphanumeric, 18). This ID identifies the details about the Opportunity against which this Quotation is being raised.

The unique number that identifies the request for quotation.

Lease Quotation No.

Displays the lease quotation number.

Customer Code

The unique code that identifies the customer.

Customer Name

The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 60).The system ensures that this field is not left blank in case if the type of customer is set to “Prospect”.

Ship To Id.

Allows to choose customer information. Throw error if invalid Ship to   IDs (ML) are given. The system retrieves the Address Ids corresponding to the customer with “Active” status. Select the Address Id from the multiline and click the “ok” pushbutton to transfer it to the required page.

Site

The name of the site and displays the site information.

Address Line 1

The first address line of the customer.

Address Line 2

The second address line of the customer .

City

The name of the city in which the customer resides.

Country

The name of the country to which the state belongs.

Contact Person

The name of the contact person.

Phone

The telephone number of the customer.

Mobile

The mobile number of the customer.

Mail

The E-Mail ID of the customer.

Sales Person

The code identifying the sales person (Alphanumeric, 6). The system checks for the validity of the sales person code from the “Sales Person” business component if this field is specified.

Sales Person Name

The name of the sales person and it is based on sales person code.

Date

Displays the date. Date on which site inspection done.

Employee Code

Unique code identifies the employee. The code identifying the employee who does the inspection is shown.

Displays name of the employee. Name of the who does the inspection is shown.

Unit Info

Information about the employee's unit. Displays the unit to which employee belongs.
