Setup Action Messages – Resource Level
This activity allows you to setup action messages for a specific resource/resource type. You can set the action messages either at plant or the business unit level. The system retrieves the corresponding action messages defined for that resource at the plant or business unit level. You can also select the type of resource for which you need the action messages to be displayed. You can specify the type of resource and the system populates all the related action messages onto the multiline.
The parameters are set for the action messages and the parameter value can be specified based on each parameter and action message defined. Once the value is specified, you can deploy the messages for the resource/resource type. A single action message can have more than one parameter defined and when this action message is deployed, the system displays a success message for the entire set of the action message and not for each individual message.
