Supply Chain Model – An overview
Introduction
The supply chain model not only allows you to model your distribution network, but also allows you to define your sourcing strategies. You can integrate manufacturing and distribution into a single planning process, and generate plans that include the entire supply chain. In addition to your material requirements plan, you can also plan for your distribution network that includes the regional distribution centers, local distribution centers, and other warehouses. These distribution requirements plan can then feed the material requirements plan.
