This activity allows you to modify the jobs/activities carried out by a resource on a work order (s) to report the performance of the employee. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Labor Reporting” link under the “Shop Floor Control“ business component.
The “Edit Labor Reporting” page appears.
Modify the following, if required:

Employee Code |
The code identifying the employee who is reporting for production. Mandatory. |

The system ensures that the employee code should not be blank and should be valid. It also ensures that the shift code cannot be left blank. |

Shift |
Use the drop-down list box to select the shifts for which the labor times are reported. The system retrieves the shift values from the master along with a blank. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Transaction Date |
The transaction date on which the labor reporting is done. Mandatory. The date should be less than or equal to the current date. |
|

The system ensures that the transaction date should not be left blank and should be in valid date format. It also ensures that the date should be less than or equal to the current date. |

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to display the corresponding employee and transaction details.
For employee code, transaction date and shift code combination if there exist a record, then the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline.
The system displays the following:

Total Duration (Hrs.) |
The total amount of time spent by the employee on the resource. Based on the duration available in the multiline, the total duration worked for transaction date is calculated as the sum of the duration specified in the multiline. |
Modify the following details in the “Details” multiline, if required:

Work Order No. |
The number identifying the work order for which the labor reporting is done. |

The system checks the work order number. It should not be blank and should be valid with status either greater than or equal to “Released” or less than or equal to “Finished” status. The login user should have the reporting permission to the "Production Controller" defined in the control unit of the work order or to the department to which the "work order/activity" belongs. The system validates the work order number by checking whether the details are entered before retrieving it through the get operation. If the details related to employee code and transaction date exist, then the system retrieves those details in the multiline. If none of the records are available, then the system allows inserting new details. If the PP Seq is left blank for the specified work order, then the system retrieves the details for item code, variant and description. The system checks whether the specified PP Seq is valid for the work order and has status greater or equal to “Released” or less than or equal to “Finished”. If the above condition is not satisfied, then the system displays an error message. For the Work Order and PP Seq combination, the system retrieves the details for activity code, activity description, resource no, description, item code, var, description along with accepted, rejected and scrap qty defaulted to zero. If the lot number exists for the PP Seq, then the system populates the existing lot numbers in descending order along with "New Lot". Otherwise only with "New Lot" are populated. If the specified PP Seq is the last activity of the work order, then the system default the multiline details for warehouse, zone or bin combination. |

Sub Activity |
Use the drop-down list box to select the sub-activities of the activity. You can select from “Setup”, “Run”, “Batch”, “Problem” or “Blank”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. For the records available in the multiline sub-activity cannot be left blank. If the value problem is selected, then the problem field cannot be blank. If the selected sub-activity is setup, batch or run then the accepted, rejected and scrap quantity should be either blank or zero. For the existing record in the multiline, the sub-activity cannot be modified. If modified, then the system displays an error message. The sub-activities available for the activity are: |

Start Time |
The start time of the activity. The start time should not be blank for the records in the multiline and should be in valid time format and should also be less than or equal to current time. |

End Time |
The end time of the activity. The end time should not be blank for the records in the multiline and should be in valid time format and should also be greater than the start time. |
Note: The system checks for each record in the multiline whether Start Time/End Time specified fall within the calendar events for specific shift. If it does not fall, then the system displays an error message.

Duration (Hrs.) |
The time duration of the activity. If the start time and end time is specified, the duration is calculated as the difference between start time and end time for each record in the multiline. |
|
Accepted Qty. |
The quantity of the output item that has been accepted during the activity. For each record in the multiline, accepted quantity should be non-zero. If it is left blank, then the system sets the field to zero. The accepted quantity should not be negative. |

Lot No. |
Use the drop-down list box to select the lot numbers. The system checks whether the item code that belong to the work order is Lot No controlled and the PP Seq is having Lot No enabled as defined in the process plan. If enabled, the system populates with available lot numbers along with a blank row. You can select from "New Lot" or “Blank”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Sub – Lot Applicable |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether sub-lot is applicable for the lot. The combo is loaded with options “Yes” and “No”. |

Activity Complete |
Use the drop-down list box to select the completed activities of the work order. You can select from “Yes”, “No” or “Blank”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Rejected Qty. |
The quantity of the output item that has been rejected during the activity. For each record in the multiline, rejected quantity should be non-zero. If it is left blank, then the system sets the field to zero. The rejected quantity should not be negative. If the rejected quantity is specified, then the rejection code cannot be left blank. |

Rejection Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the rejection codes. The system populates the values from code master for code type as "Rejection" along with blank row. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Scrap Qty. |
The quantity of the output item that has been scraped during the activity. For each record in the multiline, scrap quantity should be non-zero. If it is left blank, then the system sets the field to zero. The scrap quantity should not be negative. If the scrap quantity is specified, then the scrap code cannot be left blank. |

Scrap Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the scrap codes. The system populates the scrap code with values from code master for code type as "Scrap" along with blank row. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Scrap Cost Center |
Indicates the scrap cost center that is defaulted as resource cost center that is defined in the resource master. If the cost center is defined for Work Order and PP Seq combination, then the system validates the cost center in MAC for the specified Business Unit. |

The problems associated to the work order. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Resource No. |

Warehouse Code |
The code or number identifying the warehouse to which the reported output items is stocked. For the specified Work Order and PP Seq combination for each row in the multiline if the last activity and warehouse for the record in the multiline is left blank, then the system default the warehouse with the one defined in the "Work Order Management" business component. The system also checks whether the specified warehouse is valid for the item belongs to the work order. The warehouse specified should be defined for the item as in item-warehouse planning parameter. |

Zone |
The code identifying the zone to which the reported output items are stocked. For the multiline records where warehouse exist and the specified warehouse is not a free warehouse and if zone is blank then the system default the zone with the one available in the item-warehouse planning parameters. The specified zone should be valid for the warehouse. |

Bin |
The code identifying the bin to which the reported output items are stocked. Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the details.
Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the selected details in the multiline.
The system validates the available details in the multiline for the specified employee code and transaction date combination and selects those records for deletion that have activity complete set to "No". For the Work Order No" and PP Seq combination, the selected records are marked for deletion. The system displays a success message after deleting the respective details and refreshes the screen with the updated data. The system ensures that at least one record in the multiline should have selected for deletion.
Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the selected details in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Labor Report” pushbutton to modify the labor report details.
The system ensures that at least one record should exist in the multiline and also ensures that the relevant tasks were performed to populate the multiline. Employee code, transaction date and shift combination should be unique and always the details are to be retrieved before adding the same in the multiline.
The Work Order and PP Seq should not be blank and should be valid for every record. The system confirms that duplicate records must not exist in the multiline for Work order No, PP Seq, Sub-Activity, Start Time, End Time fields. If the existing records are modified in the multiline for the quantities and the item belong to the work order is serial number controlled and for which serial no exists then the system displays an error message. This is applicable to accepted, rejected and scrap quantity. For the existing records in the multiline, the Work Order No and PP Seq cannot be modified.
For the specified Work Order No and PP Seq combination:
If the item code is lot/serial controlled and if any modification is done, then the system displays an error message. Otherwise, assign the specified lot number.
If the specified quantity accepted, rejected or scrap is reduced from their original quantity, then the difference is calculated quantity decrease. For the decreased quantity if the duration is reduced for specific PP Seq either reducing the start/end time or directly reducing the duration
The system saves the records in the multiline and refreshes the screen with new details.
The system updates the login ID of the user to the “Last Modified By” and the system date to the “Last Modified Date” field.

Select the “Edit Sub Lot Numbers” link at the bottom of the page to maintain the sub lot details.
