This page allows you to search, select and view the carrier details. Tell me more
Select the “View Carrier” link under the “Carrier” business component.
The “Select Carrier” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Carrier Code |
The code identifying the carrier (Alphanumeric, 20). It must not have space or special characters. |
Select the “View Carrier” link at the bottom of the “Select Carrier” page.
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Carrier Code |
The code identifying the carrier (Alphanumeric, 20). It must not have space or special characters. |

Carrier Name |
The name of the carrier (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the carrier. The options available are “Active”, “Inactive”, “Cancelled” and “ALL”. The system displays “All” as the default value on launch of the page. |

Effective From |
The date on which the carrier is recognized by the system for transactions (Date Format). |
|
Effective To |
The end date till which the carrier is valid for transaction (Date Format). Carrier is not recognized by the system for transactions beyond this date. This date must be greater than the effective from date. |

Address Id |
The code identifying the address of the carrier (Alphanumeric, 12). It must not contain any space or special characters. |
|
City |
The name of the city (Alphanumeric, 40). |
|
State |
The name of the state (Alphanumeric, 40). |
|
Zip Code |
The code identifying the area (Alphanumeric, 20). |
|
Transportation Mode |
The code identifying the transportation mode (Alphanumeric, 25). |
|
Delivery Area Code |
The code identifying the area, where the goods are delivered (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Click the “Search” push button.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:

Carrier Code |
The code identifying the carrier. |

Carrier Name |
The name of the carrier. |

City |
The name of the city. |
|
State |
The name of the state. |
|
Country |
The name of the country. |

Zip Code |
The code identifying the area. |

Address Id |
The code identifying the address of the carrier. |
|
Status |
The status of the carrier. |
|
Reason Code |
The code identifying the reason for which a carrier is activated or deactivated. |

Reason |
The description of the reason code. |
To proceed carryout the following:
Select the “View Carrier” link at the bottom of the page to view the carrier details.

You can directly specify the value of the carrier code and view the corresponding carrier details. If you are not sure about the carrier code, you can carry out a search by specifying the carrier related details in the search criteria. The system displays the “Carrier Code”, “Carrier Name”, “City”, “State”, “Country”, “Zip Code”, “Address id”, “Status”, “Reason Code” and “Reason” in the multiline based on the filter criteria.
The link at the bottom of the page permits you to view the carrier details.
The Reason Code must be defined in the “Create Category Type” activity of the “Category” business component.
