This page allows you to create the details pertaining to the sales team. You can specify the sales team details, which includes sales team code, sales team description, sales team type, sales channel, effective date from, effective date to, target code and territory code. You must specify the sales person code to include the sales person in the team.
This activity also permits you to specify the credit percentage allocated to each team member.
Select the “Create Sales Team” link under the “Sales Person” business component.
The “Create Sales Team” page appears.
The system displays the following field:

Status |
The status of the sales team. The possible status available are: |

Enter the following details in the “Sales Team Details” group box:

Sales Team Code |
The unique code identifying the sales team (Alphanumeric, 6) Mandatory. This field must not have space or special characters. |

Sales Team Desc. |
The description of the sales team code (Alphanumeric, 100) Mandatory. |
|
Sales Team Registered At |
The name of the login OU in which the sales team is registered. |
|
Effective Date From |
The date from which the sales team is active in the OU (Date Format) Mandatory. |
|
Effective Date To |
The date till which the sales team is active in the OU (Date Format) Mandatory. This field must be greater than the “Effective Date From” field. |

Sales Team Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of sales team Mandatory. The values in the drop-down list box are populated from the “Category” business component. The system displays blank as the default value on launch of the page. |

Sales Channel |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of sales channel Mandatory. The values in the drop-down list box are populated from the “Category” business component. The system displays blank as the default value on launch of the page. |

Target Code |
The unique code identifying the target set for the sales team (Alphanumeric, 6). |

The unique code assigned to the salesperson (Alphanumeric, 6) Mandatory. The sales person code must not have any special characters or spaces in between. |

Status |
The status of the salesperson. The status must be “Active”. |
Click the “Create Sales Team” pushbutton to create the sales person.
The status field gets updated to “Active”.
To proceed carryout the following:
Select the “Specify Credit Allocation / Sales Target” link at the bottom of the “Create Sales Team” page to specify the credit percentage allocated and sales target to the sales persons.
The system displays the following fields:
