This page allows you to search and select the sales person code. Salesperson codes can be deactivated from making further transactions or activated to continue with the transactions. You can directly specify the value of the sales person code you want to activate or deactivate. Incase you are not sure about the sales person code or if you want to activate or deactivate multiple salesperson; you can carry out a search by specifying the salesperson related details in the search criteria. The search result is displayed in the multiline. You can select the sales person code from the multiline and activate or deactivate it as per your need. When a salesperson is deactivated, the status gets updated to “Inactive”. The sales person code gets back to its original status once activated.

Select the “Activate / Deactivate Sales Person” link under the “Sales Person” business component.
The “Select Sales Person” page appears.
Enter the following details in the "Search Criteria" group box:

Sales Person Code |
The code identifying the salesperson (Alphanumeric, 6). The salesperson code must not have any special characters or spaces in between. |

Preferred Sales Channel |
Use the drop-down list box to select the sales channel. The values in the drop-down list box are populated from the “Category” business component. The system displays blank as the default value on launch of the page. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the salesperson. The options available are “Active”, “Inactive” and “all”. The system displays “all” as the default value on launch of the page. |

First Name |
The first name of the salesperson (Alphanumeric, 77). |
|
Middle Name |
The middle name of the salesperson (Alphanumeric, 77). |
|
Last Name |
The last name of the salesperson (Alphanumeric, 77). |
|
Created Date From |
The starting range of date on which the salesperson is created (Date Format). |
|
Created Date To |
The ending range of date till which the salesperson is created (Date Format). |

Sales Person Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of salesperson. The values in the drop-down list box are populated from the “Category” business component. The system displays blank as the default value on launch of the page. |

Effective Date From |
The date from which the salesperson is active in the OU (Date Format). |
|
Effective Date To |
The date till which the salesperson is active in the OU (Date Format). |
Note: You can use the pre and post * operator for all the controls except for the date controls in the search criteria.
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following details in the "Search Results" multiline:

Enter the following detail:

Check the “Select” column from the multiline.
Click the “Activate” pushbutton to activate the salesperson corresponding to the selected column.
The status must be “Inactive” before you click this button. The status gets updated to “Active”.
Click the “Inactivate” pushbutton to deactivate the salesperson corresponding to the selected column.
The status must be “Active” before you click this button. The status gets updated to “Inactive”. The reason code must not be null.
Note: The last modified by is populated with the login id and the last modified date is populated with the system date.
To proceed carryout the following:
Select the “View Sales Person Details” at the bottom of the “Select Sales Person” page to view the details pertaining to the sales person.
