Hold / Release SO – A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to hold or release the selected service order details. You can search and select the service order, which is to be put to hold. Based on the service order selected, the system retrieves and displays the service order details. The service order that is in “Open” status can only be put to hold. The status of the service order is updated to “Hold”. You can also specify the reason for which the selected service order is put to “Hold” status.
You can also release the service order that is put to hold. The service order that is in “Hold” status can only be released. The status is updated to “Open” on releasing the selected service order. You can also specify the reason for releasing the service order that is put to hold. The system stores the login user ID and the system date along with the modified details. This activity also allows you to specify any notes pertaining to the service order.
