The “Hold / Release Work Order” page appears.

Work Order No.

The number identifying the work order, which is to be put to hold or is to be released.

Item Code

The code identifying the item of the work order, which can be put to hold or can be released.

Matl. / Prod. Controller

Use the drop-down list box to select the material or production controllers defined in the control unit for which the login user has at least “Modify” access permission. The system also displays a blank record.

Sale Order No.

The number identifying the sale order created for the selected item.

Customer Code

The name of the customer. This field is displayed based on the sale order no selected.

Hold Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the hold status of the work order. You can select from “None” and “On Hold”. The system displays "None" by default on launch of the page.

Hold Reason

The reason for which the work order is put to hold. If Hold Reason is left blank, the system displays an error message. If Hold reason has been specified, the system retrieves all the work orders in "On Hold" Hold Status with the specified Hold Reason. The system also checks for the existence of the Hold Reason in the Code Master. If no, displays an error message.

Held By

The name of the person who holds the work order. If Held By has been specified, then the system retrieves all the work orders in "On Hold" Hold status with the specified Held By.

The system gets the work order details for each of the field entered in the search criteria. All the work orders are retrieved for the order status that is “Released” but not “Completed”.

Hold Reason

Use the drop-down list box to select the reason for holding the work order. Default value is set to “Blank”. The system populates only those values that are defined for Code Type "Hold". The system also displays a blank record along with this list.

Held By

The name of the person who is responsible for holding the work order.

Remarks

The comment or remark specified by the user.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Work Order No.

The number identifying the work order that has been put to hold.

Item Code

The code identifying the primary output item of the work order that has been put to hold.

Variant Code

The code identifying the variant of the item.

Desc.

The description for the combination of the item/item variant.

Hold Status

The hold status of the work order.

Hold Reason

The hold reason of the work order.

Order Status

The status of the work order.

Order Qty.

The quantity that represents the sum of the receipt and scrap quantity.

Order Start Date

The date on which the work order has to be started.

Order Due Date

The date on which the work order has to be completed.

Sale Order No.

The number identifying the sale order created for the selected item.

Customer

The name of the customer. This field is displayed based on the sale order no selected.

The system updates the Hold Status in the Work Order Header as “On Hold” and saves the Reason Code, Held By and Remarks for the selected work order.

The system updates the Hold Status in the Work Order Header as “None” and sets the Reason Code, Held By and Remarks as “Blank” for the selected work order.

The login user ID and the system date are updated in the “Created By” and “Created Date” fields.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The login user ID of the person who has put to hold/released the work order.

Created Date

The date on which the work order was put to hold/released.
