This page allows you to view the work order details. The screen presents you with search criteria to retrieve the work order details. To view the details, you can enter or select the field in the search criteria and initiate the search operation. The corresponding details that match the search criteria are displayed in the multiline.
You can also perform an advance search to retrieve the sequencing rule codes specified for the work order. You can view the quantity to be produced, start and due date, status, problem, order priority, warehouse, product structure, process plan and sale order no details in the multiline.
Select the “View Work Order ” link under the “Work Order Management“ business component.
The “View Work Order” page appears.
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Work Order No. |
The number identifying the work order based on which the work order details are displayed. If the Work Order No is not set through Save Template field then the system defaults with blank. Otherwise, the value entered is defaulted. |
Rep. Schedule No. |
The number identifying the repetitive schedule based on which the work order details are displayed. |
Item Code |
The code identifying the item based on which the work order details are displayed. If the Item Code is not set through Save Template field then the system defaults with blank. Otherwise, the value entered is defaulted. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the logical operators used to combine with the status. You can select from “=”, “! =”, “>”, “>=”, “<”, “<=” or “Blank”. |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the work order. You can select from “Requested", “Accepted" or “Firmed". |

Item Code |
The unique code identifying the item based on which the work order details are displayed. |
Variant Code |
The number or code identifying the variant of the item. |
Matl. /Prod Controller |
Use the drop-down list box to select the material or production controllers defined in the control unit for which the login user has the access permissions. |
Note: If Matl/prod controller combo is left blank, then for work orders with status less than or equal to “Requested” status, the system gets only those work orders for which login user has at least "Modify" access permission to the material planning control unit.
For work orders with status greater than or equal to “Requested”, then the system gets only those orders for which login user has at least "Modify" access permission to the production controller control unit. For Purchase Request/ Sub-Contract Request / Stock Transfer Request in status “Requested” status the system retrieves only those requests for which login user has at least "Modify" access permission to the material planning control unit.
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Order Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the order category. You can select from “STR(Manual)”, “STR(MRP)”, “Planning Order(MRP)”, “Planning Order(Manual)”, “Planning(Repetitive)”, “MRP Order”, “Repetitive Sch”, “Unplanned”, “Rework”, “PR (MRP)”, “Purchase Request”, “Purchase Order”, “SCR (MRP)” or “Blank”. The system displays ”Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Problem |
Use the drop-down list box to select the problems associated to the work order. You can select from “No Problem”, “Material Problem”, “Capacity Problem”, “Matl & Cap. Problem”, “Engineering Change Problem”, “Order in Past date”, “Other Problems” or “Blank record”. |
Seq. Rule Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the sequence rule codes created for the Edit Work Order along with a blank record displayed on initiating the “Advance search” link. The system displays ”Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Sale Order No. |
A unique number identifying the sale order. |
Customer Code |
A unique code identifying the customer. |
Save Template |
Select the check box to save the details of the search criteria with the values specified in the current transaction to be displayed when the user revisits the screen. The system leaves the box "Checked" by default on launch of the page. If an earlier transaction is saved with Save Template selected, the system retrieves the search Criteria with the previously saved data. |
Click the “Edit Sequencing Rule Codes” link to retrieve the sequence rule code details.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the work order details that matches the search criteria.
The system retrieves all the work order details for the specified or selected fields in the search criteria. The system also retrieves the Purchase /Sub-Contract Requests that are in “Requested” status for which the login user has at least “Modify” access permission. Planning group orders are not retrieved as they are maintained as part of “Edit Planning Order”
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the work order details that matches the search criteria in the “Work Order Details” multiline.
If more than one control is specified in the search criteria, then the system retrieves the multiline details for each of the conditions separately for orders other than Purchase Request/Sub-Contract Request/Stock Transfer Request.

The Advanced Search option can be saved as a sequence rule code or can be set for a specific search without save.

The number or code identifying the variant of the item. |

The description for the combination of the variant and its item. |
Receipt Qty. |
The quantity of the item that is to be produced based on the requirements or demands. |

The date on which the work order has to be started. |
Due Date |
The date on which the work order has to be completed. |
Status |
The status of the work order. |
Problem |
The problems related to the items and resources. |
Order Category |
The order category of the work order. |
Purpose |
The purpose defined for the work order. |
Order Priority |
The priority in which the orders are scheduled. The value can be defined in a scale of “1” – “5”. |
Plant |
The plant where the work order is to be created for the item. |
Warehouse Code |
The code identifying the warehouse where the work order is to be created for the item. |
Order Qty. |
The quantity of the work order. This is the sum of the receipt quantity and scrap quantity. |
Scrap Qty. |
The expected scrap quantity of the output item of the work order. This is displayed based on the calculation of the "Receipt Qty" of the work order. |
UOM |
The production unit of measure of the item. |
Item Rev. No. |
The current revision number of the item. This is displayed only if the item is under Engineering Change Control. |
Planned Due |
The expected due date of the work order. |
PS No. |
The code identifying the product structure. |
PS Desc. |
The full description of the product structure. |
PP No. |
The code identifying the process plan. |
PP Desc. |
The full description of the process plan. |
Sale Order No. |
The number identifying the sale order created for a customer. |
Sale Order Line No. |
The number identifying the sale order line number. |

A unique number identifying the sale order schedule. |

The quantity scheduled to the customer. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. This field is displayed based on the sale order no. |
Project Code |
A unique code identifying the project. The name of the project as defined in MAC (Management Accounting Module) against which a work order can be generated. |
Project Description |
The detailed description of the project. |
Project OU |
The organization unit at which the project was created. |
WBS ID |
A unique code identifying the work break down structure of the project. |
Remarks |
The remark or comment specified by the user. |
Issued |
Indicates whether the material required for the work order are issued. |
Field1 |
The remark or comment specified by the user. |
Field2 |
The remark or comment specified by the user. |
Field3 |
The remark or comment specified by the user. |
Min. Order Qty. |
The minimum order quantity of the item. |
Max. Order Qty. |
The maximum order quantity of the item. |

The order quantity that is used to find the optimal order quantity. |
