Maintaining column structure – An overview
Column structure comprises of the details like: the number of columns present in the report, the type of column (whether the column simply displays retrieved data or information computed based on a formula), whether the column displays value or quantity, whether the displayed data is budgeted or actual etc.
You can enter a unique number identifying the column structure and also a description of the same. Details pertaining to each of the columns must be specified in the multiline. The system displays column IDs from ‘A’ to ‘O’ in the multiline. For each of the columns, you can specify the column name, column type, formula, specification of whether the column data is quantity/value and actual/budget, whether column total must be printed at the bottom of the column and the sequence or order in which the columns must be printed.
If the column structure is created the first time then the system saves the data. If the structure has already been created, then the system updates the modifications.
