Create Payables Account Definition – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to define supplier payable accounts. Supplier accounts are defined in two different ways based on the Supplier class that is Internal or External.

• External Supplier Account Definition – An external supplier account can be defined based on the combination of a finance book, supplier account group and the account currency. Suppliers are grouped under a supplier account group based certain specific parameters in the “Supplier” business component.

• Internal Supplier Account Definition – An internal supplier account can be defined for suppliers who are either a part of a different business unit of the same company or a different company.

This activity also allows you to define a TCD account for a supplier. You can also view the supplier account definition and the details of the default accounts before creating the supplier account definition.
