The system computes Flex Factor = Actual Quantity of Basic Activity Element (BAE as in the ML) / Budget Quantity of BAE (from 'Budget Values')
If Process Parameter - 'Variability for Flexible Budgeting' is set to 'Rate', then for each row in the Budget Values, where the CE Type is 'Normal' or 'Allocation' the system computes Variable Amounts = Budget Amount * Var. Rate and Fixed Amount = Budget Amount - Variable Amount and updates these values in 'Budget Values' against the corresponding CC-CE row
If Process Parameter - 'Variability for Flexible Budgeting' is set to 'Percentage', then for each row in the Budget Values, where the CE Type is 'Normal' or 'Allocation' the system computes Variable Amounts = Budget Amount * Var. Percentage / 100 and Fixed Amount = Budget Amount - Variable Amount and updates these values in 'Budget Values' against the corresponding CC-CE row
For each row in the 'Budget Values' where CE Type is 'Activity', the system computes Flexed Quantity = Budget Quantity * Flex Factor, Flexed Amount = Budget Amount * Flex Factor. For each row in the 'Budget Values' where CE Type is 'Normal' or 'Allocation', the system computes Flexed Quantity = Budget Quantity * Flex Factor Flexed Amount = (Variable Amount * Flex Factor) + Fixed Amount Store these values in temp as 'Flexed Values'
The system computes Variances quantity as follows: Volume Variance Qty = Budget Quantity - Flexed Quantity Volume Variance Value = Budget Amount - Flexed Amount Flex Bud Variance Qty = Flexed Quantity - Actual Quantity Flex Bud Variance Value = Flexed Amount - Actual Amount Total Quantity Variance = Volume Variance Qty + Flex Bud Variance Qty Total Value Variance = Volume Variance Value + Flex Bud Variance Value Store these Variances in temp along with the 'Flexed Values'
The system computes Variances % as follows: Volume Variance Qty % = Volume Variance Qty * 100 / Budget Quantity Volume Variance Value % = Volume Variance Value * 100 / Budget Amount Flex Bud Variance Qty% = Flex Bud Variance Qty *100 / Flexed Quantity Flex Bud Variance Value % = Flex Bud Variance Value * 100 / Flexed Amount Total Quantity Variance % = Total Quantity Variance * 100 / Budget Quantity Total Value Variance % = Total Value Variance * 100 / Budget Amount Store these Variances in temp along with the 'Flexed Values'
The system saves the Flexible Budget for the Budget No. /Version No. and refreshes the screen with the saved Flexible Budget Details of the Budget No. /Version No.
