This page allows you to modify or associate a table with a view. The existing tables connected to the view can be searched as well.
Select the “Specify Tables” link in the “Define View” page.
The “Specify Tables” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
View Display Name |
The name of the view, as it appears in the “Inquiries” activity. |
View Type |
The type of the view, which could be “Adhoc”, “Audit” or “Report”. |
Access |
The access type of the view. It can be either “Public” or “Private”. |
Enter the following fields in the “Selected Tables” multiline:
Table Name |
The name of the table to be added in the view (Alphanumeric, 255). |
OU Column Name |
The name of the column representing the organization unit (Alphanumeric, 255). |
GUID Column Name |
The name of the column representing the GUID (Alphanumeric, 255). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if a population procedure is associated with the view. |
Note: Both “OU Column Name” and the “GUID Column Name” are used as filters. “OU Column Name” is used to filter records for the login OU and “GUID Column Name” is used to identify data of the current session.
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the details of the table associated with the view.
