Create Activity – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create user-defined activities that must be performed on the equipment or location before clearance permit can be issued on it. For example, if a vessel in a process industry must be maintained, the following activities must be performed for making the vessel ready for maintenance:

• Close the inlet valves.

• Close the outlet valves.

• Cut the fluid supply.

• Drain the vessel.

• Blow air and dry.

These tasks can be defined in this activity with a unique code and a description. You can provide a status and enter any additional information about the activity. The system stores the details of the activities along with the login ID of the user who has created the activities and the date and time at which the activities were created.
