This page allow you to select the clearance permit for which extension must be requested. Tell me more.
Select the “Request Clearance Permit Extension” link under the “EAM Clearance Permit System” business component.
The “Select Clearance Permit” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box if you know the clearance permit for which extension must be requested:

Clearance Permit |
The clearance permit for which extension must be requested (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Request Extension” link provided alongside to request extension of the clearance permit.
To search for a clearance permit.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a clearance permit:

Clearance Permit |
The clearance permit for which extension must be requested (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter a clearance permit in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance permits, which are similar to the clearance permit entered here. |

Status
|
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve clearance permits based on its status. The system provides the options: “Extended” and “Approved”. Leave the field blank to retrieve clearance permits irrespective of the status. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Created By |
The employee ID of the user who created the clearance permit (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the employee ID in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance permits that are raised by users whose employee IDs are similar to the employee ID entered here. |

Reason |
The reason for which the clearance permit is created (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the reason in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance permits, which are created for reasons similar to the reason entered here. |
Enter the following fields in the “Permit Validity Date” field to retrieve clearance permits based on the dates for which the clearance permit is valid:

From |
The date from which the clearance permit is valid (Date Format). |

To |
The date till which the clearance permit is valid (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is earlier than the date entered in the “From” field. |
Enter the following fields in the “CP Date” field to retrieve clearance permits based on the dates within which the clearance permits were created:

The starting date from which you wish to retrieve the clearance permits that are created (Date Format). |

To |
The date till you wish to retrieve the clearance permits that are created (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is earlier than the date entered in the “From” field. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
Based on the search criteria entered the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The reason for which the clearance permit is created. |

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the clearance permit. |

Name |
The name of the user who created the clearance permit. The system retrieves the name only if the user name of the user is attached to his employee code in the “Create Roles and Rights Activity”. |

Created Date |
The date on which the clearance permit was created. |
|
Valid From |
The starting date from which the clearance permit is valid. |
|
Valid To |
The date till which the clearance permit is valid. |

Status |
The status of the clearance permit which can be “Extended” or “Approved”. |
Check the box in the select column of the multiline to select the clearance permit.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Request Extension” link from the bottom of the page to request for the extension of the selected clearance permit.
Select the “View Clearance Request” link from the bottom of the page to view the clearance request based on which the clearance permit was raised.
Selecting clearance permit for requesting extension – An overview
You can select the clearance permit for which extension must be requested in this page. You can enter the clearance permit directly. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the following fields:
the clearance permit
the reason for which the permit is created
the login ID of the user who created the clearance permit
the status of the permit
the period for which the permit is valid
the period during which the clearance permit is created.
Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the clearance permits that are in the “Approved” and “Extended” statuses.
