This page allows you to reject a clearance request. Tell me more.
Select the “Reject Clearance Request” link from the bottom of the “Select Clearance Request” page.
The “Reject Clearance Request” page appears.
Enter the following field if you wish to reject a clearance request other than the clearance request selected in the previous page:

Clearance Request |
The clearance request that must be rejected (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the clearance request. |
The system displays the following fields:

Date |
The date on which the clearance request was created. |
|
Status |
The status of the clearance request, which can be “Fresh”. |
The system displays the following field:

Permit Req From Date |
The date from which the clearance permit is required. |
Enter the following field:

Rejected Date |
The date on which the request is rejected (Date Format). Mandatory. |

Enter the time at which the request is rejected in the text box alongside (Time Format). If you leave the field blank, the system assigns the current system date. |
Note: Ensure that the date and time are not earlier than the date and time at which the clearance request was created.

Reason For Rejection |
The reason for which the clearance request is being rejected (Alphanumeric, 150). |
Click the “Reject Request” pushbutton to reject the clearance request.
Note: The system rejects the clearance request and sets the status of the clearance request as “Rejected”. It also stores the login ID of the user who rejected the clearance request along with the date and time of rejecting it.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The login ID of the user who created the clearance request. |

Created Date |
The date and time at which the clearance request was created. |

Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who rejected the clearance request. |

Last Modified Date |
The date and time at which the clearance request was rejected. |

Select the “View Clearance Request” link from the bottom of the page to view the details of the clearance request.
Rejecting clearance request – An overview
This page allows you to reject a clearance request. You can reject a clearance request that is selected from the previous page. You can also enter a clearance request in this page and reject it. Only the planner can reject a clearance request and only a clearance request that is in the “Fresh” status can be rejected. You can reject a clearance request by specifying the date and time of rejection and the reason for rejecting the clearance request.
The system rejects the clearance request and sets the status of the clearance request as “Rejected”. It also stores the login ID of the user who rejected the request as the user who s last modified the request along with the date and time of rejection of the clearance request.
