Eqp. / Loc.

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintainable object for which procedures must be attached. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”.

Eqp. / Loc. Code

The equipment or location to which procedures must be attached (Alphanumeric, 30).

To search for an equipment or location

Eqp. / Loc.

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintainable object for which procedures must be attached. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. Leave the field blank if you wish to retrieve both equipment and locations. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Code

The equipment or location to which procedures must be attached (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment and location whose codes are similar to the code entered here.

Desc.

The description of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment and locations whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.

Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Eqp. / Loc.

Indicates whether the maintainable object retrieved by the system is an equipment or location.

Code

The equipment or location retrieved by the system.

Desc.

Selecting equipment/location for attaching procedures – An overview

Set Default Procedures - A summary of the activity

You can select in this page, the equipment or location for which procedures must be attached. You can directly enter the equipment or location. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the equipment or location and its description. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves equipment or location that are in the “Active” status, to which procedures must be attached.
