Set Default Procedures – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to attach procedures to equipment/location or permit types. You can attach lockout or tagout procedures and safety procedures to the equipment/location or permit types. You can also set the procedures as default for the equipment or location. The procedures that have been set as default will be defaulted to the equipment/location or permit type when clearance permits are created for the equipment/location in the “Create Clearance Permit” activity. You can select the equipment or location to which procedures must be attached in the “Select Equipment/Location” page. You can attach procedures to the equipment/location or to a permit type in the “Attach Procedures” page.
