In this page, you can select the equipment for moving it from one location to another. Tell me more.
Select the “Move Equipment” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.
The “Select Equipment” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact equipment to be moved:

The equipment to be moved (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Move Equipment” link provided alongside, to record the equipment movement details.
To search for an equipment
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for equipment. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

The equipment to be moved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the equipment in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the equipment with values that are similar to the value entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the equipment with description similar to the description entered here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the equipment to be moved. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the equipment irrespective of their status. The system displays "Active” by default. |

Parent |
The parent equipment, of the equipment to be moved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the equipment in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the equipment for which the parent equipment is similar to the equipment entered here. |

Location |
The location of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the equipment for which the locations are similar to the location entered here. |
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the equipment in the multiline.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Selecting equipment for moving – An overview
To select an equipment, you can enter the equipment number directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the equipment, its description, status, the parent equipment and its location. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the equipment for recording its movement.
