This page allows you to attach parameters to the asset structure. Tell me more
Select the “Attach Parameters” link at the bottom of the “Edit Asset Structure Code” page.
The “Asset Structure Parameters” page appears.

Asset Structure |
The asset structure for which you wish to attach parameters (Alphanumeric, 30). The description of the asset structure is displayed alongside. Zoom facility available. |

Type |
The type of the asset structure, which can be “Rotables” or “Normal”. |
The system lists the parameters that are already identified for the asset structure, in the multiline. You can modify or delete these parameters, or add new parameters for the asset structure.
Enter the following fields in the “Parameter” multiline, if you wish to add new parameters to the asset structure:

Parameter |
The parameter to be attached to the asset structure (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the parameter is already defined in the “Create Parameter” activity and is in “Active” status. This field cannot be modified. |

Press <Enter>. The system displays the “Description”, “Type” and “UOM” fields in the multiline. |
The system displays the following fields in the multiline.

The description of the parameter. |

Type |
The type of the parameter, which can be “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Consumption” or “Range”. |

UOM |
The unit of measurement of the consumption or range parameter. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:

Remarks |
Any additional information regarding attaching the parameter to the asset structure (Alphanumeric, 150). |
Check the box in the "Select" column of the multiline, to mark the parameters for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected parameters.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton, to update the asset structure parameter details.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the asset structure. |

Created Date |
The date and time on which the asset structure is created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the asset structure. |

Last Modified Date |
The date and time at which the asset was last modified. |

Attaching parameters to asset structure – An overview
Parameters are certain attributes defined for the equipment, which help in monitoring the condition or usage of the equipment. The parameters that are attached to the asset structure are automatically attached to the equipment that are created using the asset structure. The parameters to be attached must have already been defined in the “Create Parameter” activity.
You must specify the parameter and any additional information about attaching the parameter to the asset structure. You can also delete the parameters that are already attached to the asset structure.
