Replace Rotable

This activity allows you to replace the rotables in a single transaction. You can specify the new location for the current incoming and outgoing location of the rotable. You can also specify the conditions of the rotable movement for both incoming and outgoing. The unit cost of the item can be specified based on the Unit Of Measurement (UOM).
Select the “Replace Rotable” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.
The “Replace Rotable” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Outgoing Transaction No. |
A unique number identifying the outgoing transaction of the rotable. |

Transaction Date |
The date and time on which the rotable is replaced. The system displays the current date and time. |

Incoming Transaction No. |
A unique number identifying the incoming transaction of the rotable. |
Enter the following fields in “Rotable Replacement” group box:

Description |
The description of replacement . |
|
Ref Work Order |
The unique number identifying the reference work order document. |
|
Equipment |
A unique code of the equipment whose rotable has to be replaced. |
|
Placeholder |
Indicates the Place holder of the rotable. (Display Only) |

Rotable Moved Out |
Use the drop-down list box to select the rotable code which has to be moved out. The combo is loaded with all rotable codes mapped to the equipment. |

Replaced With |
A unique code of the rotable, which will replace the existing rotable. This rotable should not be attached to a place holder |
Enter the following fields in “Movement Details” group box:

Current Loc(Outgoing) |
The current location of the outgoing rotable. (Display Only) |

New Location(Outgoing) |
The new location of the outgoing rotable. |

Current Rotable Condition(Outgoing) |
The current condition of the outgoing rotable (Display Only) |

New Rotable Condition(Outgoing) |
Use the drop-down list box to select the new condition of the outgoing rotable. The system displays the Description of the new rotable condition. |

Current Loc(Incoming) |
The current location of the incoming rotable. (Display Only) |

New Location(Incoming) |
The new location of the incoming rotable. |

Current Rotable Condition(Incoming) |
The current conditions incoming rotable. (Display Only) |

New Rotable Condition(Incoming) |
Use the drop-down list box to select the new conditions of the incoming rotable The system displays the description of the new rotable condition. |

Move Date Time |
The date and time on which the rotable has to be moved. |

Reason |
The reason for replacing the rotable. |

Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the rotable replacement. |
The system displays the following fields in “Moved Out Rotable Inventory Details” group box:

Item Code |
A unique code identifying the item which is mapped to the outgoing Rotable. |
|
Variant |
A unique code identifying the item variant. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the item. |
Enter the following fields in “Movement Details” group box:

Cost Unit |
The unit of cost for the rotable movement. |
Click the “Replace Rotable” pushbutton to replace the details of the movement.
The system replaces the new rotable details to the current rotable details.
