Equipment Induction – An overview
Introduction
The Equipment Induction business component provides for the definition of all maintainable entities in an organization. An Equipment is defined as any asset owned by an organization which needs maintenance. It is an identifiable unit of an organization on which maintenance is carried out. It could be any physical asset of the organization. It can either be a machine or vehicle etc. This component also facilitates hierarchical relationship between different equipments, various different attributes, equipment calendars etc.
