Viewing equipment parameters

Equipment Parameter

This page allows you to view the parameters that are attached to the equipment selected in the previous page. Tell me more.

Select the “Equipment Parameter” link from the bottom of the “View Equipment” page.

The “Equipment Parameter” page appears.

Enter the following field if you wish to view the parameters attached to an equipment other than the equipment selected in the main page:

Eqp.	The equipment for which you wish to view the parameters (Alphanumeric, 30).
	Press <Enter>. The textual description of the equipment is displayed alongside.
	Zoom facility available

The system displays the following field

Type

The type of the equipment, which can be “Normal”, “Tool” or “Rotable”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Parameter” multiline:

Parameter	The parameter attached to the equipment.
Type	The type of the parameter, which can be “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Consumption” or “Range”.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the consumption or range parameter.
Source	The source from which the parameter value must be updated. The system displays one of the following:
	Manual – indicates that the parameter value is updated manually.
	Parent – indicates that the parameter value is updated from the parent equipment. This option is applicable only for a consumption parameter.
	RTI – indicates that the parameter value is updated from the real time integration system.
	Formula – indicates that the parameter value can be updated by a formula.
	Parameter – indicates that the Parameter (Consumption only) value can be updated by a Parameter (Attribute only)
Hourly Usage	The estimated hourly consumption of the parameter.
Present Value	The current value of the parameter.
Date	The date on which the present value of the parameter has been recorded.
Time	The time at which the present value of the parameter has been recorded.
Seq. No.	The order in which the parameters are displayed in the multiline.
Remarks	Any additional information about the equipment parameter.
Formula	The formula of a formula – based parameter.
Formula Content	The content of the formula.

Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the attribute parameters for viewing its values.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Attribute Parameter Values” link from the bottom of the page to view the values of the attribute parameters attached to the equipment.
Select the “Inspection Points” link from the bottom of the page to view the inspection points that are attached to the parameter.
Select the “Parameter Relationship” link from the bottom of the page to view parameter relationship.

Viewing equipment parameters – An overview

The system also allows you to directly enter equipment other than the equipment selected in the previous page, and view its parameters.

Details of the parameters such as the type, source from which the value of the parameter is updated, the estimated hourly usage of the parameter and the unit of measurement of the range and consumption parameters are displayed. You can also view the present value of the parameter, the date and time at which the present value was recorded, the sequence in which the parameters appear in the multiline and any other additional information entered for the parameter.
