Generate PM Forecast – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to view the preventive maintenance schedules that are due for a specific period. You can select the preventive maintenance schedules for which you wish to view the forecast and view the forecast details in the “Generate PM Forecast” page. You can view the spare parts that are needed for carrying out preventive maintenance during the forecast period in the “Spare Parts Requirements” page. For more details regarding the viewing of the spare part details, refer to the topic “Review PM Forecast – A summary of the activity”.

Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the details of the preventive maintenance that are in the “Active” status for the purpose of generating work orders. You can specify the date till which work orders must be generated. The system generates work orders for carrying out preventive maintenance till the date that is specified.

You can generate the preventive maintenance forecast for a specific period and view the various dates on which preventive maintenance schedules are due.

• Go to “Generate PM Forecast” page.

• Enter the period for which you wish to view the preventive maintenance schedules that are due.
