Priority

Work Group

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the inspection order (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure that the work group is already defined in the “Create Work Group” activity of the “Work Group” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Duration (Hrs.)

The number of hours required for the execution of the inspection order (Decimal). Ensure that the duration is positive.

Lead Time (Days)

The lead-time, in days, required for carrying out the inspection order (Decimal). Ensure that the lead-time is not negative. The system displays “0”, by default.

 

Press <Enter>.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to modify the type of inspection. The system lists all the inspection types that have been defined in the “Define Inspection Types” activity of the “Inspection Order” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify an inspection type.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to modify the category of inspection. The system lists all the inspection categories that have been defined in the “Define Inspection Categories” activity of the “Inspection Order” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify an inspection category.

Execution Agency

Use the drop-down list box to specify the agency, which must execute the inspection. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Internal – Select this option if the agency that must carry out the inspection is within the plant.

 
  • External – Select this option if the agency that must carry out the inspection is an outside agency.

Clearance

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the inspection. The system provides the options: “Required” and “Not Required”.

Note. If the “Clearance” field is set as “Required”, the system automatically generates a clearance request or a permit based on the option that has been set in the “Option Setting” activity of the “Clearance Permit” business component.

Permit Type

Use the drop-down list box to modify the type of the permit required. The system lists all permit types that have been defined in the “Define Permit Types” activity of the “Clearance Permit” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any permit type.

Eqp. Condition

Use the drop-down list box to specify the condition of the equipment based on which the inspection must be carried out. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Online – Select this option to indicate that the task is to be performed on the equipment when the equipment is in operation.

 
  • Offline – Select this option to indicate that the task is to be performed on the equipment when the equipment is not in operation, or is in the “Down” state.

 
  • Not Applicable – Select this option to indicate that this task can be performed on equipment when it is either offline or online. Also select this option if the task is to be performed on a location.

Parameter

The parameter for which inspection must be done (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure the following:

 
  • that the parameter is already defined in the “Create Parameter” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status

 
  • that the parameter is of type “Range” or “Attribute”

 
  • that the parameter is not defined as a conditional parameter

 
  • that the source from which the parameter value is updated is not “Formula”

 
  • that the parameter is attached to the equipment in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component or to the location in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component

Note: If you have set the “Status” field as “Active”, ensure that you specify at least one parameter in the multiline.

Inspection Point

The inspection point on the equipment or location where inspection must be carried out (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the inspection point is already defined in the “Create Inspection Point” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status. Also ensure that the inspection point is attached to the equipment or location in the “Create Equipment” activity of “Equipment Induction” business component or the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component respectively.

Note: Ensure that the “Parameter – Inspection Point” combination is unique to the multiline.

Task / Proc. Code

The task or the procedure that must be carried out for the inspection (Alphanumeric, 30). If you have specified a task, ensure that the task has already been defined in the “Create Task” activity of the “Task” business component. If you have specified a procedure, ensure that the procedure is already defined in the “Create Procedure” activity of the “Task” business component.

 

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Task/Procedure” field in the multiline.

 The system displays the following field:

Task / Proc. ?

Indicates if the code entered in the “Task/SP Code” field is a task or a procedure.

Spl. Tool

The tool that is required for carrying out the inspection (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the tool is already defined in the “Add tools” activity of the “Tools” business component and is in the “Active” status.

The login ID of the user who created the inspection schedule template.

Created Date

The date and time at which the inspection schedule template was created.

Last Modified Date

You can specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the inspection order that is raised based on the inspection schedule, which is in turn created from the inspection schedule template.

If clearance is required, the system automatically generates a clearance request or clearance permit for carrying out the inspection order. This is done when an inspection order, based on the inspection schedule, is generated.
