This page enables you to select the equipment or location for which parameters must be updated. You can enter the equipment or location directly. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the equipment or location, the parameter group that belongs to the equipment / location and the parameter that must be updated. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the equipment / location for which parameters must be updated.
Select “Report Parameter Value” under the “Parameter Log” business component.
The “Select Equipment / Location” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the equipment for which the parameter value must be updated:

Update On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to update parameter values on equipment or location. The system provides the options “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment”, by default. |

Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location for which parameter values must be updated (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Click the “Update Parameter Log” link provided alongside, to update the parameter details for the specified equipment or location.
To search for an equipment or location
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the equipment or location. Data entry in the following fields is optional.

Update On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to update parameter values on equipment or location. The system provides the options “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment” by default. |

Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location for which parameter values must be updated (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment or locations containing code that is similar to the code entered here. |

Classification
|
The classification which is attached to the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the classification in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment or location that belong to this classification. |

Desc. |
The description of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment and locations containing description that is similar to the description entered here. |

Location |
The location of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment whose location is similar to the location entered here. |

Parameter |
The parameter of the equipment or location for which you wish to update the values (Alphanumeric, 30). The system retrieves all the equipment or location to which similar parameters are attached. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the equipment or location.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Code |
The equipment or location retrieved by the system. |

Desc. |
The description of the equipment or location. |
|
Location |
The location of the equipment. |
Click the hyperlinked equipment or location code to update its parameter values.
