This page allows you to specify the skills that are required for the procedure as well as for the tasks that belong to the procedure. Tell me more.
Select the “Skill Requirement” link from the bottom of the main page.
The “Skill Requirement” page appears.
Enter the following field, if you wish to specify skills for a procedure other than the procedure selected in the main page:

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the tasks belonging to the procedure entered in this page, in the “Skill Reqt” drop-down list box. The system retrieves the description of the procedure alongside. |

Use the drop-down list box and select “Additional Requirements”, to specify the additional skills for the procedure. If you wish to specify skills for the task belonging to the procedure, select the appropriate task from the drop-down list box. The system displays “Additional Requirements” by default. |
Based on the option selected in the “Skill Reqt.” Field, if you have already specified skills for the procedure or for the tasks belonging to the procedure, the system retrieves the details in the “Skills” multiline. |
Enter the following field in the “Skills” multiline to add skills to the procedure or the task:

The skill to be specified to the task or procedure (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the skill has already been defined in the "Competency" business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solutions. This field cannot be modified. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” and “Skill Cost/Hr” fields in the mutliline. |

Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Duration In Hrs. |
The number of hours for which the skill is required (Decimal). Ensure that the duration is positive and not greater than the total procedure duration. If you leave the field blank, the system displays by default, the task duration, if the skill is specified for a task or the procedure duration if the skill is specified as additional requirements for the procedure. |
Qty. (Nos.) |
The number of people possessing the skill, required for executing the task or procedure (Decimal). Ensure that the quantity is positive. If you leave the field blank, the system displays “1”, by default. |

Skill Cost / Hr. |
The unit cost of utilizing the skill per hour. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the mutliline, to select the skills for removing from the task or procedure.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to remove the selected skills from the task or procedure.
Click the “Update” pushbutton to specify the skills for the procedure.
Note: The system updates the skill details for the procedure and also deletes those skills that are marked for deletion.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Tool Requirement” link from the bottom of the page to specify the tools for the procedure.
Select the “Resource Requirement” link from the bottom of the page to define other resources for the procedure.
Click the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page.
Skill Requirement – An overview
This page allows you to specify the skills that are required for the procedure as well as for the tasks that belong to the procedure. You can specify skills to the procedure selected in the main page. You can also enter a procedure directly in this page and specify skill requirement for it.
You can enter the skill directly or select a skill using the help facility. You can also modify the details of the skills that have already been specified to the procedure. Details such as the number of hours for which the skill is required and the number of people with the specified skill can be modified. You can also delete an existing skill, from the procedure or from the tasks belonging to the procedure.

Enter the skill code of the skill that is required in the “Skill Code” field in the multiline.
