Report Work Order Progress – A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to report the progress made in a work order. You can select the work order and record the details of progress made in this page.
You can select a work order by carrying out a search based on the following fields:
the work order number and its description
the status of the work order
the maintainable object which can be equipment or location, for which the work order has been created
the identifier of the equipment or location
the planning group of the work order
the type, category and priority of the work order
the location of the equipment on which the work order is raised
the work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order
the reference documents based on which the work order is raised
the dates within which the work order is scheduled to start
the date on which the work on the work order was actually started
The system retrieves the work orders based on the filter criteria entered. You can record the progress made for the work orders retrieved in the multiline. You can record the progress made, by entering the percentage of completion as on a specific date and time.
You can also mark a work order for completion. On completion, the system sets the percentage completion of the work order as 100%, the status of the work order as “Completed” and the status of all the tasks that belong to the work order as “Completed”.
The change in work order status is recorded in the work order history.
