EAM Work Order Execution – An overview
Introduction
The work order execution business component provides the scope to enter the actuals during execution. The work order is ready for execution after the release of an approved work order. Execution of a work order involves the following activities: -

Updation of work order actuals
Feature Highlights
Facility to capture actual time spent by each employee or resource on maintenance work.
Facility to capture the actual time spent by employee on a work order.
Specify consumption details of items issued from inventory to facilitate return of balance items including spares.
Track item issues, receipts & returns pertaining to work order(s).
Specify any exception details or reasons for delay during execution of work.
Provision to capture details of down hours, root cause and task-wise comments given by the technician working on that work order.
Change the status of the work order from ‘approved’ to ‘In-progress' without entering any actuals.
Selectively flag off tasks as completed during the course of work order execution.
Automatic posting of work order details to equipment history for review on closing the work order.
