This page allows you to view the supply and demand details of an item. Tell me more.
Select the “Analyse Supply Demand” link from the bottom of the “Reserve Parts” page.
The “Analyze Supply Demand” page appears.
Enter the following fields if you wish to retrieve the supply and demand details for an item other than the item entered in the previous page:

Item |
The item for which you wish to view the supply and demand details (Alphanumeric, 32). |

Variant |
The variant of the item (Alphanumeric, 8). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the description of the “Item – Variant” combination alongside. |

Note: Ensure that the source of the “Item” or the “Variant” is “Manufactured”. |

Warehouse |
The warehouse of the item for which the supply and demand details are displayed (Alphanumeric, 10). |

The system displays the following field: |

Stock UOM |
The unit of measurement of the stock. |
|
On Hand Qty. |
The quantity on hand as on the current date. |
Enter the following field:

To Date |
The date till which you wish to retrieve the supply and demand details (Date Format). |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Demand Supply Details” multiline:

Date |
The date for which the supply and demand details. |
|
Planned Receipt |
The quantity that is planned to be received as on the specified date. |
|
Planned Issue |
The quantity that is planned to be issued on the specified date. |
|
Stock Closing |
The closing stock as on the specified date. |
|
Order No. |
The number of the purchase order by which the items are planned to be received. |
|
Free Stock |
The free stock that is available after the issue. |
|
Status |
The status of the stock. |
|
Reserved Order No. |
The work order for which the item is required. |

Problem |
Indicates whether the reservation was successful or not. The system displays “Yes” if reservation was not successful indicating the quantity as problem quantity. The system displays “No”, if reservation was possible. |

Problem Qty. |
The problem quantity if the reservation is not successful. |
|
Cumulative Problem Qty. |
The cumulative problem quantity till date. |
|
Promised Date |
The date on which the reservation is possible for the problem quantity. |

Select the “Stock Status Review” link from the bottom of the page to review the stock status.
Select the “View Order Pegging” link from the bottom of the page to view the details of the work order pegging.
Select the “View Demands” link from the bottom of the page to view the demand for the stock.
Analyzing the supply and demand of an item – An overview
This page allows you to view the supply and demand details of an item. You can view the demand and supply details for an item that is selected in the previous page. You can also enter an item directly in this page and view its demand and supply details. You can retrieve the demand and supply details of an item based on its item and variant combination and the warehouse of the item. You can also specify a date and retrieve the demand and supply details from the current date till the specified date.
