This page allows you to specify non-standard spare parts for the work order. Tell me more.

The “Spare Parts Requirement” page appears.

WO No.

The work order for which you wish to specify non-standard parts (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure that the work order is in the “Scheduled” or “In Progress” status.

 

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the tasks belonging to the work order in the “Spare Reqt.” Field. The description of the work order is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

 

The system displays the following field:

WO Date

The date of the work order.

Spare Reqt.

Use the drop-down list box and select “Additional Reqt.”, to specify spare parts for the work order. If you wish to specify spare parts for a task, select the appropriate task from the drop-down list box. The system displays “Work Order” by default.

 

The system displays the description of the work order or task alongside.

Note: You can specify non-standard spare parts only for a task that is in the “Scheduled” or “In Progress” status.

The system displays the following fields:

Sch. Date

The date on which the work order is scheduled to start.

Compl. Date

The date on which the work order is scheduled to complete.

Work Group

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order.

Planning Group

The planning group that is responsible for the work order.

Desc.

The description of the spare part (Alphanumeric, 150).

UOM

The unit of measurement of the spare part (Alphanumeric, 10). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified the description of the non-standard spare part in the “Description” field. Ensure that the unit of measurement is already defined in the ”UOM Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions.

Sch. Qty.

The scheduled quantity of the work order (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified the description of a non-standard spare part in the “Description” field. Ensure that the quantity is not negative.

Cost/Unit

The cost per unit of the spare part (Decimal). Ensure that the cost is not negative.

The system retrieves the following fields in the multiline:

Est. Cost

The estimated cost of the spare part.

Est. Qty.

The estimated quantity of spare parts required for the work order.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who reserved the spare parts.

Created Date

The date and time at which the spare part was reserved.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the reservation of the spare parts.

Last Modified Date

The date and time at which the reservation was last modified.

You can specify non-standard spare parts for a work order or for a task of a work order.
