This page allows you to maintain one of the properties of an organization unit that is the address. You can set one address as a standard for the selected organization unit. You can modify the set address at a later time if required. You can also enter a date from which the address would be effective for the selected organization unit. Help facility is available to select the organization unit and the address ID.
This page also allows you to unmap an address ID that has already been set for the organization unit. The system stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the created and modified details.
Select the “Maintain OU Properties” link under the “Organization Setup” business component.
The “Maintain OU Properties” page appears.
Enter the following fields:
Org. Unit |
The code identifying the organization unit (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. |
Press <Enter> key. |

The system retrieves and displays the code identifying the company and the business unit to which the organization unit belongs in the respective fields. |

Note: If an address ID has already been mapped to the organization unit, the system also retrieves the address details.
Effective Date |
The date from which the address would be effective for the organization unit (Date Format). Mandatory. The system date is displayed by default at the launch of the page. |
The system displays the following:
Company Code |
The code identifying the company to which the organization unit belongs. |
Business Unit |
The code identifying the business unit to which the organization unit belongs. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the address details.
The system retrieves the address details that have been already mapped to the organization unit.
Enter the following field in the “Address Details” multiline:
Address Id. |
The code identifying the address (Alphanumeric, 12). Mandatory. |
Press <Enter> key. |

The system retrieves and displays the details of the entered address ID in the respective fields. |

The system displays the following in the “Address Details” multiline:

A textual description of the address ID. |
Address |
The complete mailing address of one of the organizations various locations. |
City |
The city in which one of the organizations location is available. |
State |
The state in which the city is located. |
Enter the following field in the “Address Details” multiline:

Use the drop-down list box to set whether the address ID must be used as the standard address for the organization unit. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. |

The system displays “No” by default at the launch of the page. |
Note: You can set only one address for an organization unit.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark an address ID that must be mapped to the organization unit or that must be unmapped from the organization unit.
Click the “Map Address” pushbutton to map the selected address ID to the organization unit.
The system updates the status of the organization unit – address entity as “Active”. The system stores the address details along with the organization unit.
Click the “Unmap Address” pushbutton to unmap the selected address ID from the organization unit.
The system updates the status of the organization unit – address entity as “Inactive”.
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The login ID of the user who mapped the address to an organization unit. |
Created Date |
The date on which the address was mapped to an organization unit. |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the mapping. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the address – organization unit was last modified. |

Select the “Set Global Parameters” link at the bottom of the page to enter the details of Global Parameters.
Select the “Set Company Parameters” link at the bottom of the page to enter the details of Company Parameters.
